Smoked Salmon Pate on Bagel Toast

serves 2 - 4  time 30 mins  



3 Bagels
2 tbsp olive oil

125 g (4 oz) smoked salmon

150 g (5oz) light cream cheese

lemon, juiced, rind pared and shredded

freshly ground black pepper

small bunch washed watercress



Cooking Method

1. Cut each bagel into 4 thin slices. Brush each with olive oil and bake at 200 0C, 400 0F, Gas 6 for 5 to 6 minutes until golden and crisp. Allow to cool.

2. Mash the salmon, cream cheese and lemon juice together with a little black pepper.

3. Pile onto the bagel crisps and sprinkle with lemon rind and watercress..
