Minitube flies for summer salmon and sea trout fly fishing dressed on fine stainless steel needle tubes

A small selection of minitube flies are shown below, intended for summer salmon and sea trout fishing in lowish water during the day or at night for the sea trout. They are dressed on ultra slim stainless steel needle tubes, outside diameter 1.5 mm and in lengths of 10 and 15 mm

Dressed on Grays Needle Tubes, ultra slim stainless steel tubes with an outside diameter of only 1.5 mm, the small tubes are intended for salmon and sea trout fishing in the low flows of summer. Dressed here on needle tubes of length 10 mm and 15 mm, they will fish more deeply than plastic or aluminium tube flies but higher in the water than copper or brass. They are also much slimmer than conventional metal tube flies and require no body dressing on the slim stainless steel tube body. Below are just a few very simply dressed examples.
