Trout Fishing Loch Leven, Scotland
Loch Leven, in the county of Kinross, is renowned worldwide for
the quality of its trout fishing. Once a noted brown trout fishery,
it was stocked in recent years with rainbow trout. An effort is now
being made to restore the loch to its former glory as the
pre-eminent brown trout water in Scotland.

walking trip in Scotland should equip themselves with a compass
and the appropriate Ordnance Survey map. The most useful of the
O.S. maps for the fisherman is the Landranger series, scale
1:50,000. For each of the lochs and rivers listed here, I have given the
relevant O.S. Map number.
