Trout Fishing on North Uist, Scotland
A glance at the map below will show that there is
probably more water than land in North Uist, all of it offering the

fishing lochs are available to visiting anglers through the North
Uist Angling Association, while the lochs on Benbecula are managed
by the South Uist Angling Club.

In addition to the information provided
here, I would recommend that anyone planning a fishing or
walking trip in Scotland should equip themselves with a compass
and the appropriate Ordnance Survey map. The most useful of the
O.S. maps for the fisherman is the Landranger series, scale

relevant O. S. Map number.
