Fishing in Assynt, Scotland
From Lochinver in the west to Inchnadamph in the
east, Assynt offers a wonderful variety of fishing to the visiting
trout fisherman in an area of outstanding scenery, dominated by the
mountain peaks of Quinag, Canisp, Ben More Assynt and Suilven. Lochs
to suit all tastes, from the large expanse of Loch Assynt itself to
the many smaller lochs, more than one hundred and fifty of them,
available on the Assynt Angling Group permit.

In addition to the information provided
here, I would recommend that anyone planning a fishing or
walking trip in Scotland should equip themselves with a compass

relevant O.S. Map number.
